The Viejitos Car Club, Oxnard chapter, was founded in the spring of 1990. The club is based in Oxnard, California, with members living throughout Ventura County. Some of our members were born and raised in the well known working class neighborhood of La Colonia. There are 30 chapters throughout California, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Illinois, Mexico, Japan, and Australia. All chapters are involved in some type of charitable fund raising or activities that assist youth or community based organizations. Our members come from all walks of life. As a car club, we own classic cars and are deeply involved in preserving the vintage car culture. We are family oriented and enjoy strong support from our spouses, girlfriends, parents, children and other family members. Viejitos Car Club, Oxnard Chapter, represents and promotes the lowrider culture/community throughout Oxnard and Ventura County with dignity and respect. We promote peace, compassion and education for the underprivileged. Our goal is to always assist the children of Oxnard and Ventura County in any way we can. We are proud members of United Car Clubs of Ventura County. Through this association, we support and are supported by other car clubs throughout Ventura County. We salute original members: Hector Ramos, Danny Roldan, and Jon Castillo for their continued dedication to the Viejitos Car Club, Oxnard Chapter.
